Andie's List

Andie’s List is a compilation of all my favorite recommendations. Whether it be books, podcasts, or other people, Andie’s List is where you can find the people or things that have inspired me.

Say what you will about PSAs but over the years, they have really stuck for me. And because I believe that “Knowledge is Power” and “Reading is FUN-damental” I have a big collection of books. In fact (nerd alert) every room in my house has a shelf of books or two… or 20 like in my office! But I don’t have them for the “shelf-esteem”. I have a rotating stack of books on my desk that I use in my coaching.  Here are some of my go-tos!

The Ideal Team Player
I love Patrick Lencioni's The Ideal Team Player because he sets out a great framework that applies to the hiring, assessing, and development of employees. But I would also recommend using it to focus on yourself as a leader. You are your best asset!
The Four Tendencies
I love Gretchen Rubin's The Four Tendencies because it offers a fast hack into managing holding ourselves accountable.
The 5 Love Languages
I love Gary Chapman's The 5 Love Languages because the framework helps identify the perfect blend of how you feel most loved and appreciated and which styles may not work for you despite the best of intentions.
The Art of Possibility
Check out The Art of Possibility: Transforming Professional and Personal Life by Roseamund Stone Zander and Benjamin Zander
Pathways to Possibility
Rosamond Stone Zander's follow-up book, Pathways to Possibility has even more helpful information on how to create this practice in your life. Both books are full of real life stories and tips to try that will tap into your own creativity to create transformation and fulfillment.
If you are a bookworm like me, you can learn more about the EOS® System in Traction by Gino Wickman
Rocket Fuel
Learn more about Visionary/Integrator relationships in this book by Mark C. Winters.
Emotional Intelligence 2.0
By Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves, this is a great book for tactical and practical ways to level up your skills.

Here are a few podcasts that I regularly stream in the office, in the car, in the kitchen and garden. The hosts are really interesting people and their guests are even more fascinating.

In the loneliest of years (#pandemic) these people kept me company and taught me far too many things for me to list.

Let’s keep learning and growing- tell me what you think and please share your favorites too!
